The Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR) is a highly efficient anaerobic digestion technology used for continuous biogas production from organic waste.
Suitable Feed Materials
Food waste
Dairy waste
Agricultural residues
Organic industrial waste
Fruit & vegetable waste
Slaughterhouse waste
Working Principle
Organic waste is continuously fed into a sealed reactor where mechanical mixing systems maintain uniform conditions inside the tank. Anaerobic microorganisms decompose the organic matter in the absence of oxygen and produce methane-rich biogas.
Key Features
Food waste
Uniform mixing and digestion
Stable biogas generation
High methane yield
Efficient temperature and pH control
Advantages
Optimizing the electrical scope of the wind farm can unlock more than $320k per year for a 100MW Wind Farm.
